This position oversees all Sales & Marketing operations in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards. Working closely with Rooms, Food & Beverage, and all revenue-generating departments, the Director of Sales & Marketing plays a pivotal role in optimising occupancy, strengthening key accounts, expanding market presence, maximising total revenue, and driving sustainable profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve commercial targets.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the hotel’s customer base.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to shape forward-looking strategies and product enhancements.
Team Leadership & Performance
• Lead, coach, and inspire the Sales & Marketing team to exceed performance goals.
• Set clear expectations, KPIs, and development pathways to cultivate a high-performing culture.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the hotel at conferences, trade shows, and networking events locally and across priority international markets.
Commercial Stewardship
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with Rooms, F&B, Revenue, and Events to optimise total revenue and enhance guest value.
• Participate in Duty Manager shifts as required.
