Chef de Partie

Xara Catering, part of the distinguished Xara Collection, is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team, specializing in catering for high-end functions, weddings, and large-scale events.
As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running a designated section in the kitchen, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency during event preparations and execution. You will work closely with senior chefs to deliver exceptional dishes that uphold the standards of the Xara brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute daily preparations for your assigned kitchen section
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Work efficiently to support large-scale functions and high-volume service
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop event menus
- Train and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen, preferably in catering or banqueting
- Culinary qualification or equivalent professional training
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle high volumes
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
