Xara Collection are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Personnel to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our outlets are maintained to the highest standards, carrying out repairs, supporting health and safety compliance, and assisting in the setup of events/functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks across the premises.
- Ensure all outlets and equipment are maintained in line with company standards.
- Support the implementation of health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment, furniture, and other requirements for functions or events.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate company vehicles as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of basic repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) will be considered an asset.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend functions.
- Valid driving licence is essential.
