Job Description
Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a multilingual Duty Manager to join our esteemed team. As a Duty Manager fluent in Arabic, German, and Italian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth hotel operations.
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction
- Manage and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests in multiple languages
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Implement and maintain hotel policies and procedures
- Monitor and manage hotel security and safety protocols
- Assist in training and developing staff members
- Prepare and analyse reports on hotel performance and guest feedback
- Manage shift handovers and communicate important information to relevant teams
- Act as the main point of contact for guests and staff during your shift
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic, German, and Italian, with excellent English communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in hospitality management systems and software
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Relevant hospitality certifications, such as a Hotel Management Diploma, are desirable
