Job Description
Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Spa Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional spa experiences to our discerning guests, ensuring their relaxation and rejuvenation during their stay.
- Perform a wide range of spa treatments, including massages, body treatments, and facials, tailored to each guest's needs
- Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate treatments
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and tranquil spa environment
- Educate guests on various treatments and provide aftercare advice
- Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Adhere to spa protocols and safety standards
- Maintain accurate treatment records and guest files
- Promote and sell spa products and services
- Collaborate with the spa team to enhance guest satisfaction and achieve spa goals
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends and techniques
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in beauty therapy, massage therapy, or a related field
- Previous experience as a spa therapist or in a similar role within a luxury hospitality setting
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, body treatments, and facial treatments
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the benefits of different spa treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic, and supportive demeanour
- Ability to customise treatments to meet individual guest needs
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform treatments throughout the day
- Familiarity with spa products and their applications
- Additional certifications in specific spa treatments (desirable)
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
- Willingness to work in a luxury resort setting in the Seychelles
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
