Job Description
Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking an Assistant Guest Relations Manager who is fluent in French and Arabic. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Assist in managing the guest relations team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure seamless service delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for French and Arabic-speaking guests, addressing their needs and concerns
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfil guest requests and resolve any issues promptly
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a warm welcome and fond farewell
- Organise and manage special events, VIP arrivals, and personalised guest experiences
- Conduct regular guest satisfaction surveys and implement improvements based on feedback
- Train and mentor new team members in guest relations best practices
- Maintain accurate guest records and preferences using hotel management software
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- Fluency in French and Arabic, with excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in guest relations or hospitality management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality standards and practices
- Understanding of Seychelles tourism industry is desirable
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work in a diverse environment
