As a Banqueting Supervisor, you will lead a team of attendants and coordinate closely with kitchen, events, and management teams to maintain high service standards. Your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate guest needs will contribute to the overall success of our events and enhance the hotel’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and participate in the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all aspects are executed to brand and operational standards.
- Lead and motivate the banqueting team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure professional service delivery.
- Coordinate with event planners and internal departments to ensure event specifications are met and guest expectations exceeded.
- Monitor banquet room appearance and cleanliness before, during, and after events.
- Address and resolve guest issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure accurate documentation of event details, including billing, equipment use, and staff allocation.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate event timelines, special requirements, and service standards to the team.
- Maintain inventory control of banqueting supplies and assist in ordering and stock management.
- Support with recruitment, onboarding, and development of banqueting team members as needed.
