Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our luxurious wellness team at Constance Moofushi, Maldives. As a Spa Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional spa experiences to our discerning guests in a stunning island resort setting.
- Conduct a wide range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body wraps, and aromatherapy, adhering to our high standards and protocols
- Warmly greet and consult with guests to understand their needs and preferences
- Customise treatments to meet individual guest requirements and expectations
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and relaxing environment in treatment rooms and spa areas
- Actively promote and explain our spa services and products to guests
- Provide expert advice on aftercare and home beauty regimens
- Ensure proper set-up and breakdown of treatment rooms between appointments
- Accurately record treatment details and maintain client files
- Handle payments and cash transactions for treatments and product sales
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry trends and techniques
- Collaborate with the spa team to achieve sales targets and enhance guest satisfaction
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Spa Therapist in the hospitality industry
- SC holder OR equivalent qualification in beauty therapy or related field
- National Certificate Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or similar
- Comprehensive knowledge of various spa treatments and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform treatments throughout the day
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
- Willingness to work in a remote island resort setting
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm for promoting wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences
