Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and empathetic Guest Relation Host (German Speaker) to join our luxury resort in , Maldives. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for ensuring our German-speaking guests have an exceptional and memorable stay.
- Welcome and assist German-speaking guests throughout their stay, providing a warm and personalised experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for German-speaking guests, addressing their queries, requests, and concerns promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfil guest requirements and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide information about resort facilities, activities, and local attractions
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for guests
- Organise and oversee special events or activities for German-speaking guests
- Translate important information, documents, or announcements from English to German when necessary
- Maintain accurate guest records and preferences to enhance future stays
- Continuously seek ways to improve guest satisfaction and overall experience
Qualifications
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on cultural sensitivity
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in hospitality management systems and computer applications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Customer service certifications (desirable)
- Knowledge of Maldivian culture and tourism (advantageous)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
