Job Description
We are seeking a talented and versatile Yoga Instructor Cum Spa Therapist to join our luxury wellness team in Constance Halaveli, Maldives. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to guide guests through transformative yoga sessions and provide rejuvenating spa treatments in our tropical paradise setting.
- Lead daily yoga classes for individuals and groups, catering to various skill levels and styles
- Provide personalised yoga instruction and create tailored programmes for guests
- Perform a range of spa treatments, including massages and body treatments
- Offer wellness consultations and recommend appropriate yoga and spa services
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tranquil environment in both yoga and spa areas
- Assist in developing and implementing new wellness initiatives and packages
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to ensure a holistic approach to guest well-being
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in yoga and spa therapies
Qualifications
- Yoga Teacher Training Certification (minimum 200-hour)
- Spa Therapy or Massage Therapy Certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as both a yoga instructor and spa therapist
- Proficiency in various yoga styles (e.g., Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative)
- Extensive knowledge of spa treatments and products
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and holistic wellness practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create personalised wellness programmes
- Customer-focused approach with a calm and empathetic demeanour
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Experience in a luxury resort setting is highly desirable
- Willingness to work and thrive in a tropical island environment
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
