We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef/Pastry Chef to join our hotel kitchen team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast items and fresh pastries while maintaining excellent food hygiene and presentation standards.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and present daily breakfast items
- Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and pastry section
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Assist with menu planning and development of new breakfast and pastry items
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations during breakfast service
- Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth daily operations
- Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients
