Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at our luxurious resort in , Maldives. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a memorable and enjoyable stay for all visitors to our tropical paradise.
- Welcome and check-in guests, providing a warm and professional greeting
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
- Process reservations, room assignments, and check-outs
- Manage guest accounts and handle financial transactions accurately
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness
- Provide information about resort amenities, local attractions, and activities
- Assist with luggage and arrange transportation services when needed
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Ensure compliance with all resort policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is highly valued
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with hotel management software
- Exceptional multi-tasking ability and problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage when necessary
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
