Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at our luxurious resort in , Maldives. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay in paradise.
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish room amenities daily
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in assigned areas
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping storage areas
- Follow proper handling and disposal procedures for cleaning chemicals and waste
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and resort policies
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and equipment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and supportive demeanour
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred
- Ability to adapt to and work in a tropical island environment
