Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern for our Accounts & Stores department in , Maldives. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and inventory management within a dynamic corporate environment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing basic bookkeeping tasks
- Support the inventory management process, including stock counts and data entry
- Help prepare financial reports and reconciliations under supervision
- Participate in the accounts payable and receivable processes
- Assist in organising and maintaining the company's filing system for financial documents
- Collaborate with team members on various administrative tasks related to accounts and stores
- Support the implementation of efficient storage and retrieval systems for inventory
- Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and inventory management concepts
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Keen interest in learning and developing skills in accounting and inventory management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
- Must be able to work in , Maldives for the duration of the internship
