Position Overview
Hours: 18-24 hours per week

Role Objective
Having spotlessly clean and immaculately presented chalets is fundamental to the success of our business. We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals who share our exceptionally high standards and take pride in delivering luxury hospitality to our guests.
It is essential to work quickly and efficiently as chalets must be turned over seamlessly between departing and arriving guests – ensuring there is absolutely no trace of previous occupants when new guests settle into their home for the week. Our chalets are luxury properties furnished and equipped to the highest standards, and we need our housekeeping team to maintain these valuable assets in pristine condition.
Attention to detail is paramount. The little touches that often go unnoticed are what separate good service from exceptional service, ensuring our guests are genuinely impressed from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
Changeover Cleaning (2-3 per week)

Complete changeover cleaning of self-catered chalets between guest stays

Bed preparation: Strip and remake all beds to AliKats presentation standards

Deep cleaning: Thoroughly clean bathrooms, kitchens, and all living areas

Outdoor areas: Tidy patios, terraces, and garden areas including cleaning garden furniture and spa areas

Laundry management: Wash towels and sort laundry systematically

Organization:
Keep store cupboards and supplies well organized

Room presentation: Style and display all rooms according to training guidelines and handbook specifications

Quality control: Conduct final inspection to ensure everything meets our luxury standards
Midweek Maintenance Cleaning

Regular upkeep of chalets during guest stays

Restocking
supplies and amenities as needed

Light cleaning and tidying to maintain standards throughout the week
Additional Duties

Maintenance reporting: Identify and report any property issues promptly

Inventory management: Monitor and report supply levels

Guest liaison: Maintain professional, friendly interaction with guests when required
Ideal Candidate
- Recent cleaning or housekeeping experience (able to provide references)
- Hospitality experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
- Ability to work efficiently under time pressure
- Physical fitness for demanding cleaning tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good level of spoken English (B2 minimum)
- Team player with positive attitude
- Enthusiasm for winter sports and alpine living
- Manual driving license and own transport would be an advantage but not essential
- EU passport or appropriate work authorization preferable
