A Brief History

After working in the French Alps for many seasons we (Jono and Jill) decided to create Riders Refuge for people like us who wanted a relaxed holiday with great food in a clean comfortable chalet.

Our core customers change from summer to winter, summer our core customers are downhill mountain bikers. In winter it is young professionals, but we welcome all.

We do ask groups with children under 14yrs to take the chalet on an exclusive basis.

Riders Refuge began in June 2008, we first opened our doors to mountain bikers in Chalet Les Pistes, Now entering our 14th winter we have 7 catered chalets and many returning guests and we want to keep on improving our company and having happy guests and happy staff is important to us.
