Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator to join our team at the luxurious Constance Halaveli resort in the Maldives. As an Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our resort operations, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in this tropical paradise.
- Operate and monitor various equipment and systems essential to resort operations
- Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate logs and records of equipment operations and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate operational needs and resolve any issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests related to resort facilities and operations
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Operator, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting
- Proficiency in operating and monitoring various types of equipment and systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and communicating via email
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of resort operations is desirable
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols
- Willingness to work in a remote island setting and adapt to the unique environment of the Maldives
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
