Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the luxurious Constance Halaveli resort in the Maldives. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional stay experience.
- Greet and check-in guests, providing a warm and professional welcome to the resort
- Handle guest enquiries and requests efficiently, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including maintaining guest records and preparing reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle financial transactions, including cash and credit card payments
- Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions
- Assist with concierge services, such as arranging transportation and excursions
- Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of Maldivian culture and customs is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, empathetic, and customer-focused attitude
- Team player with a positive outlook and professional appearance
