We are pleased to offer Chalet Chef positions across our three resorts: Val d’Isère, Méribel, and Courchevel.
Role Overview:
This is a very demanding but rewarding role, with full responsibility for the catering service in your allocated chalet alongside your team.
The emphasis in this role is on your ability to draw on your impressive experience and creativity to design and deliver a luxury chalet catering service of the highest possible standard.
Main Responsibilities:
- Using pre-arrival information provided by your guests, create a bespoke menu for their stay:
- Daily breakfast (in collaboration with the breakfast chef).
- Daily afternoon tea, to include one sweet and one savoury dish.
- Prepare evening meals for five nights of the guests’ weekly stay based on their preferences and requests. You can expect the menu to include canapés, up to five courses, and petit fours.

Children’s Dinner Service: Some guests may require an earlier children’s dinner time with an appropriate menu.

Food Hygiene Standards: Maintaining food hygiene, general health & safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas, to include a full clean of the kitchen at the end of each service, and a weekly deep clean.

Budgets and Accounts: Management of the chalet food budget, including provision ordering and shopping.

Breakfast Chef Support: Working collaboratively with the breakfast chef, providing training at the beginning of the season, and ongoing as required.

Staff Meals: Planning and preparation of two staff meals per day.

Guest Interaction: Presenting menus and speaking with guests when required.

Environmental Responsibility: Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives.
