What You'll Do The Beauty Therapist will be certified and required to perform a full range of treatment therapies which include Swedish Massage, Body treatments such as exfoliations, wraps and Hammam services, Facials and Nail services. All services are to be delivered to a luxury Five star level of service and in accordance with Kimpton Seafire standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct wellness consultations and provide guidance and aftercare advice to clients.
- Be able to perform and maintain Forbes standards to an expert level
- Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat, professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization.
- Replace treatment linens on tables so that the room is ready for the next client.
- Maintain and increase existing knowledge of beauty therapy treatments by sharing technique skills with fellow therapists during in-house instruction,
- Be present in all continued education and training offered by the Spa either in house or virtually.
- Present a professional, well-groomed appearance; provided uniforms are to be worn at all times in the Spa and are laundered and pressed.
- Work effectively with coworkers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables, and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
- Assist the Spa team in general housekeeping and administrative duties.
- Maintaining an adequate inventory for products.
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING :
- A current valid Beauty Therapy Certification required, CIDESCO, NVQ or CIBTAC preferred
- 5 years' + previous Beauty therapy experience in a luxury Spa environment required
- Knowledge of Forbes Spa Standards
- A passion for customer service and excellent verbal communication skills.
- This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The hourly pay range for this role is $7 to $8 USD plus commissions.
