Job Description
Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking a dedicated Guest Relations Officer with fluency in Chinese and Arabic. This role is crucial in ensuring our international guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable stay at our world-class property.
- Welcome and assist Chinese and Arabic-speaking guests, providing a warm and professional first impression of the resort
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfil guest requirements and resolve any issues
- Provide information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth experience for guests
- Act as a liaison between guests and hotel management when necessary
- Maintain accurate guest records and update the hotel's database system
- Organise and coordinate special events or activities for guests
- Promote the resort's services and upsell when appropriate
- Ensure all interactions with guests adhere to the highest standards of customer service
Qualifications
- Fluency in Chinese and Arabic, with excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in hotel management software and general computer skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating lasting memories
