Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Reservation Manager to join our Reservations team. The successful candidate will support the Reservations Manager in overseeing daily reservation operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the Reservations team to handle daily bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to travel partners, agents, and direct guest inquiries.
Monitor booking trends, room availability, and ensure maximum occupancy while minimizing overbookings.
Support the Reservations Manager in training, supervising, and evaluating team members.
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing, Revenue, and Front Office teams to optimize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain updated knowledge of resort offerings, promotions, and systems (PMS/CRS).
Prepare reservation reports and assist in forecasting and performance analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Reservations within a luxury resort/hotel environment. Added advantage for candidates with Maldives experience.
Strong knowledge of reservation systems (Opera PMS/CRS preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages an advantage).
Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and lead a team effectively.
