Job Description
Constance Prince Maurice, a luxurious resort in Mauritius, is seeking a professional and efficient Driver/Porter to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional transportation services to our guests and supporting various hotel operations.
- Safely transport guests to and from the airport, as well as to local attractions and destinations
- Assist guests with luggage handling and provide porter services within the resort
- Maintain vehicles in excellent condition, ensuring cleanliness and performing basic maintenance checks
- Provide friendly and informative interactions with guests, offering local knowledge and recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences and efficient operations
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and resort safety protocols
- Assist with various support tasks as needed, including deliveries and general errands
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and guest requests
Qualifications
- Valid bus driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations in Mauritius
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Previous experience as a driver or porter in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Secondary school education or equivalent
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
