Role Overview
We have recently added a building of four high-end apartments in Les Gets to the AliKats portfolio for the 2025/26 winter season, and we are looking for an experienced, proactive and guest-focused couple or established pair to jointly ensure the smooth running of the residence.
This role blends guest hosting, property checks, cleanliness oversight, and basic maintenance. You will work together to deliver a seamless guest experience while enjoying the flexibility to structure your schedules in a way that works best for you as a couple.
The role is ideal for two people who enjoy hospitality, work well as a team, and want a balanced, flexible alpine winter.
Contract: Winter season (ASAP – mid/late April)
Hours: Flexible shared hours – typically 20–24 hours per person, per week,
but can alternatively be divided unevenly (e.g., 16 hours for one person and 32 hours for the other) if one partner has another job.
Days off: 1 shared day off + 1 individual day off each (flexible based on bookings)
Location: Les Gets, France
Accommodation: (1 bedroom apartment suitable for 2 people)
Key Responsibilities (Shared Between the Couple)
Guest Experience
- Provide warm, professional guest meet & greets for arrivals.
- Share responsibility as the on-site point of contact for guest queries.
- Maintain a reassuring presence during morning and evening checks.

Daily Property Checks
- Alternate the twice-daily checks (pre-8am and post-5pm).
- Ensure communal areas are consistently tidy, safe and welcoming.
- Build rapport with guests and identify needs proactively.
Cleaning & Changeovers
- Share housekeeping duties, increasing or decreasing individual involvement depending on bookings and the chosen split of weekly hours.
- Complete apartment cleans and uphold AliKats’ high standards.
- Oversee and check any external cleaners who may support busy periods.
- Manage stock, linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
Spa & Pool Care
- Carry out daily pool/spa water testing and basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate logs and escalate issues as needed.
- Divide tasks between you according to hours and preference.
Reporting & Maintenance
- Complete daily guest and property reports.
- Carry out simple maintenance tasks as required.
- Report any technical issues promptly to the maintenance team.
Work Rhythm (As a Couple)
- Morning and evening checks are alternated, ensuring a balanced routine.
- Daytime on-call duties also alternate, meaning one person is always available for urgent issues while both maintain excellent ski and leisure time.
- Housekeeping responsibilities are shared proportionally, depending on occupancy and your agreed split of hours (e.g., 16/32, 20/24).
- Changeovers typically occur on weekdays, with schedules varying based on bookings.
- Each person receives:
- One shared day off together, plus
- One additional individual day off, allowing personal time and flexibility.
This flexible structure makes the role suitable for couples where one partner may also wish to pursue freelance work, remote work, or a secondary job during the season.
