Join Rockley’s vibrant, energetic team and help create unforgettable adventures on the water! We’re on the lookout for motivated, enthusiastic, and professional Dinghy Instructors to join our Poole-based centres – Rockley Point and Poole Park Lake – where no two days are ever the same.
As a Dinghy Instructor, you’ll be part of a fun, friendly, and supportive team delivering high-quality watersports sessions across a wide range of activities. From school groups and uniformed organisations to families and individuals, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every customer enjoys a safe, inspiring, and memorable experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction to groups of all abilities
- Teach a variety of watersports activities under the guidance of our Senior Team
- Support evening entertainment sessions as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and be a positive, motivating role model
- Plan and run fun, safe and effective sessions aligned with NGB guidelines
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence and confidence in all learners
- Deliver activities in line with Rockley’s safety procedures and operating standards
- Safeguard the welfare of children and young people and follow correct reporting protocols
- Ensure clients and staff adhere to all safety policies
- Respond positively to feedback and work proactively on improvements
- Carry out equipment checks and maintain high standards of safety cover
- Contribute to general centre duties such as kitchen help, cleaning, night duty and wash-up supervision

Qualifications
Essential:
Desirable (training may be provided):
- BC Paddlesport Instructor
- RYA Powerboat Instructor
- RYA Multihull Instructor
- RYA Advanced Instructor
- BSUPA Instructor
- RYA Windsurf Instructor
- Enhanced DBS (can be obtained)
