About the Role
As an Activity Manager, you will be at the core of Les Elfes’ ski and activity operations, leading a dynamic team and ensuring safe, and enjoyable experiences for our international campers. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as strong skiing ability.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of up to 30 ski and activity instructors; create weekly rosters and manage staff performance.
• Safety & Supervision: Oversee on-slope safety, ensuring all security protocols are respected by both staff and students.
• Ski Operations: Prepare and manage daily ski group lists for up to 140 students; supervise ski fitting sessions and equipment distribution.
• Quality Control: Monitor instructor behavior and teaching standards to ensure the best possible learning and safety environment for students.
• Reporting & Coordination: Communicate with resort managers and other departments to align on daily plans and updates.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a team management role, ideally in a ski, camp, or activity environment.
• Level 2 skiing ability (or higher) with solid on-slope confidence.
• Strong organizational and computer skills (Excel, Google Suite, or similar tools).
• Excellent command of English; other languages (French, Spanish, etc.) are a plus.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
