Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Food & Beverage Host sets the tone for a welcoming and elevated dining experience. You'll manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and assist both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Job Duties & Functions:
- Warmly greet all guests, answer inquiries about the restaurant and local area.
- Manage reservations and assist in coordinating special events or private dining.
- Handle incoming calls and book reservations accurately using the reservation system.
- Respond to guest e-mails and queries.
- Print food and beverage menus.
- Assist servers by taking food and beverage orders when needed.
- Check the floor and tables for cleanliness and readiness; assist with bussing and resetting tables.
- Support service by refilling beverages and assisting guests with requests.
- Maintain an organized host stand and uphold cleanliness standards throughout the shift.
- Step in to support other F&B roles as needed, in line with our team-oriented culture.
- Performs other duties and attends meetings, as assigned by hotel/department leadership.
