Job Summary:
The Welcome Ambassador is the primary point person for ensuring all guests have a seamless and memorable arrival experience. This person acts as a liaison between the guest and the front desk/ concierge teams, to ensure all guest needs are met upon arriving to the resort.
Job Duties and Functions
- Review all arrivals daily, noting special requests and blocking rooms accordingly to meet guest needs.
- Assist with the management of the lobby, including but not limited to assisting arrival and departure queues, ensuring constant tidiness and organization, ensuring all areas of the lobby are well-stocked with supplies, proactively greeting all guests that arrive or pass through the area
- Assist in delivering a curated arrival experience for all guests, including but not limited to serving welcome beverages, offering chilled towels, assisting with arranging guests with taxis or other excursion needs
- Act as the point person for orienting the guest with the resort, by highlighting key features, offering thoughtful and personalized recommendations, and providing useful information for the guest stay
- Attend monthly departmental meetings and actively participate in discussions and updates.
- Maintain open communication with key departments including Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and Valet via telephone or radio.
- Stay informed about local tourism and recreational offerings throughout the island. Assist guests with recommendations and reservations when needed.
