Job Description
Constance Moofushi, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Constance TMA Lounge Hostess Intern to join our team. This exciting internship opportunity offers a chance to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry while working in a stunning tropical paradise.
- Greet and welcome guests to the TMA Lounge, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Assist guests with check-in procedures and provide information about resort facilities and services
- Maintain a clean and tidy lounge area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Take and prepare beverage orders for guests, demonstrating basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Assist in organising and setting up for special events or functions in the lounge
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and lounge activities
- Support senior staff members in daily operations and learn from their expertise
- Contribute to the overall guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and providing exceptional service
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with hospitality management software
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in a remote island setting
- Basic understanding of the luxury hospitality industry (preferred)
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills in the hospitality sector
