The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of GROUP SPA & WELLNESS MANAGER at its Head Office based at Tribeca, Mauritius.
The Group Spa & Wellness Manager will be responsible for overseeing the spa and wellness operations across all The Lux Collective properties globally, ensuring consistent, high-quality service and brand standards.
The incumbent will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be based in Mauritius.
The incumbent will:
- Oversee spa operations, including treatment options, wellness therapies and spa menus.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the spa and wellness teams across all resorts to ensure operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices across all resorts.
- Design and implement new wellness and spa programs, ensuring they align with the company’s vision and guest expectations.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the spa and wellness Team Members to maintain high skill levels and stay current with industry trends.
- Develop and monitor spa budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high service standards.
- Drive revenue through strategic pricing, promotions, and ensuring the spa’s offerings align with guest needs and seasonal trends.
- Work closely with the Executive and Development teams on new hotel and resort projects to design innovative spa facilities and develop comprehensive wellness programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote spa and wellness offerings, ensuring they align with the company’s branding and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for external partnerships and new service offerings to increase visibility and attract guests.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary Education at Degree level in Spa Management or Hospitality Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognised institution.
- Certification in Spa or Wellness Management (e.g., CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ISPA, or equivalent).
- Certifications in wellness therapies, fitness, or holistic health are a strong advantage.
- Postgraduate qualifications would be a definite advantage.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 10 years of working experience in Spa or Wellness Management.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in luxury hospitality world.

- Excellent organisational, financial and analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of wellness trends, treatments, and guest experience strategies.
- Familiar with Spa and booking software.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language. Knowledge of an additional language would be a definite advantage.
- Excelling in driving and taking ownership of all facets of spa operations including pre-opening and post opening of hotels.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
