About
I am a friendly, trustworthy, reliable, conscientious, and hard-working individual with
a positive attitude and calm manner. I consider myself to be responsible and always
strive to learn and perform a job to the best of my ability. I have a dual British and
German (EU) Passports and a full clean UK driving licence with experience driving on
the continent. I also speak basic German (2nd language).
In terms of work experience, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in customer
service as a shop assistant as well as through teaching surfing, trumpet, and
lifesaving. I have learnt how to encourage others by instilling technical skills and
confidence in an enjoyable way. My work as a lifeguard and surf coach has also taught
me to look after and help others, whilst acquiring knowledge and experience in public
health and safety, writing risk assessments, advising the public on safety issues,
providing lifesaving cover and administering first aid. My various physical feats in the
outdoor environment over the years have meant that I am good at problem solving
and thinking on my feet and I have developed a resilience in stressful and challenging
situations. I have travelled extensively through Europe and North Africa, so am very
comfortable in a ‘foreign’ environment.
I have excellent communication skills, computer skills and am confident in conversing
with all types of people in different situations. I enjoy working as part of a team but
am equally confident working alone. I have a strong work ethic and am always keen to
learn and develop new skills. I enjoy interacting with new people and I would really
love the opportunity to become a part of your team.
