About
I have skied regularly since I was 12 and have spent time in many resorts across the French Alps. I am comfortable navigating large ski areas independently and skiing black runs. The mountains are somewhere I genuinely love being, and after finishing college I want to challenge myself by living and working in that environment for a full winter.
I do understand that working a ski season is very different from going on a ski holiday. I know that the job comes first and that seasonal work can mean early starts, late finishes, cleaning, repetitive tasks and busy days.
I have already experienced that kind of work. As a Kitchen Porter at The Bulls Head, I worked busy afternoon and evening shifts. I spent long periods washing pots and kitchen equipment, keeping up with the demands of busy services and helping with food preparation and other jobs whenever needed.
I currently work at a Shell service station, where I work day and evening shifts and occasionally nights. My role includes serving customers, handling cash and card payments, preparing food, replenishing and rotating stock, cleaning, working with deliveries and promoting loyalty cards. I enjoy talking to customers and perform particularly well against upselling targets.
I believe I would bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. I am not looking for a particular job title or expecting the glamorous parts of a season. I am looking for an opportunity to prove myself, work hard and contribute to a team.
I am also confident and independent. At the ages of 15 and 17, I travelled alone from the UK to Portugal to visit a friend. I have played competitive football for 14 years, including at a level just below academy standard, and have trained consistently in the gym for four years. These experiences have taught me discipline, teamwork, resilience and the importance of continuing to put the work in even when something is difficult.
Outside work, I built a gaming TikTok account to more than 100,000 followers and earned money through content monetisation and affiliate product sales. I now create fitness content on a separate account. Building these platforms taught me initiative, consistency and how to communicate confidently with different people.
What appeals to me most about a ski season is the chance to combine hard work with my passion for the mountains and adventure. I want to meet like-minded people, experience living abroad and find out where a life involving seasonal work and travel could take me next.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss how I could contribute to your team during the 2026/27 season.
