About

I am an experienced hospitality professional and General Manager with more than 20 years of experience across five-star hotels, luxury resorts, fine dining and high-volume hospitality operations. I hold an International Hotel Management Diploma and have built my career around strong leadership, exceptional guest service, team development, operational excellence and commercial performance.

My experience includes senior positions at some of South Africa’s leading luxury properties, including The Mount Nelson Hotel, The Pepper Club Hotel & Spa, The Riviera on Vaal, Cellars-Hohenort Hotel and The Table Bay Hotel. In my current General Manager role, I report directly to the owner and oversee daily operations, staff leadership, service standards, cost control, stock management and revenue-generating initiatives.

I am a hands-on and entrepreneurial leader who enjoys developing people, building strong teams and creating memorable guest experiences. Among my achievements, I generated a record R50.2 million in turnover during a four-month period as Acting F&B Manager at The Mount Nelson and reduced F&B payroll costs by 1.2% through improved labour scheduling and cost controls.

I am fluent in English, German and Afrikaans and am seeking an opportunity to bring my luxury hospitality experience, leadership skills and passion for service to an international property in Italy.
