Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is looking for a motivated Housekeeping Trainee, supporting the Housekeeping Department.
What will your mission be?
As a Housekeeping Trainee, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in coordinating the department’s daily operations, helping to ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest service quality.
What will you do?
- Support the inspection of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with outsourced service providers to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist the team in managing daily operational requests and coordinating maintenance interventions.
- Support the monitoring of supplies, consumables, and linen inventory.
- Assist with inventory activities and stock control.
- Use company management systems to update operational information and records.
- Contribute to the implementation of company procedures, safety regulations, and sustainability policies.
- Support the department in analyzing quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.
What are we looking for?
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A degree or coursework in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field will be considered a plus.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in the hospitality industry.
- Proactive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic and international environment.
Monthly allowance of € 600.
