Rockley is thrilled to present a unique opportunity for non-qualified individuals to become an Activity Instructor at Rockley's largest Dorset-based centre - Buddens Activity Centre.
This exciting opportunity is designed for individuals without any previous experience or formal outdoor qualifications but who possess a genuine passion for the outdoors. We will provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel as an instructor in a variety of exciting and exhilarating activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Assist in providing high-quality instruction to all students within the group once qualified
- Learn to instruct a variety of activities under the supervision of the Senior Team
- Learn to deliver evening entertainment activities as directed by the Senior Team
- Maintain standards of tuition for practical elements, ensuring group safety and welfare
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating the expected attitudes, values, and behavior to students
- Deliver activities in line with company and local operating procedures
- Comply with health and safety/operating policies and procedures
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people, raising concerns following protocol
- Ensure clients and staff follow safety procedures and policies
- Carry out equipment checks and maintain equipment stores inventory
- Perform basic maintenance and equipment repairs or dispatch faulty equipment for repair
- Engage in general center duties such as assisting in the kitchen and maintaining cleanliness.

PACKAGE
4 Weeks of FREE (unpaid) training—valued up to £2000.00 / Guaranteed work upon completion of your training, subject to ongoing monitoring / Contract based on 37-40 hours per week, paid on a 4-weekly basis at NMW / 5-day working week/6-day in peak season.
