The best learning happens out in the wild …
Our instructors harness the power of learning and adventures in the outdoors to support young people and teach them the most important lesson they could ever learn: to believe in themselves.
Experiencing an Outward Bound course takes participants on a journey of self-discovery and you’ll play an integral part in this.
Why Our Instructors Love Working with Us
Our Locations: Our centres are set in inspiring environments giving you the opportunity to explore the mountains, sea, and rivers - both personally and at work. Adventures with your group include land and water based journeys, camping expeditions, rock climbing, canoeing, gorge walking and more.
Our Courses: no two weeks are the same. Our instructors have the autonomy to choose activities and journeys to maximise real impact and learning, whilst meeting course outcomes. You’ll work with the same group of young people throughout their course, making it especially rewarding as you witness their progress and personal journey.
CPD: We offer continuous professional development, including an individualised training package, dedicated training days, and a progressive salary scale. We support you to be the best you can be and reach your full potential.
