Wellness Head Department – Boho Club, Marbella
Boho Club is a 40-room luxury boutique hotel on the Golden Mile, one of Marbella's most celebrated addresses. We sit at the intersection of laid-back luxury and genuine Mediterranean soul: a place where design meets warmth, where mornings start slowly and intentionally, and where wellness is not a amenity, it's a feeling that runs through everything we do.
Our wellness offering is growing. We have the foundations in place, spa treatments, fitness, yoga and now we need the person who will turn them into something guests talk about long after they've checked out.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Wellness Manager who believes that real wellbeing goes beyond a massage and a green juice. This is a hands on, creative, and commercially aware role. You'll own the full wellness experience at Boho Club, the spa, the fitness and yoga programming, and the guest wellness journey from arrival to departure.
You'll report directly to the Hotel Manager and work closely with F&B, Front Office, and external practitioners to make wellness feel seamlessly woven into the Boho experience never bolted on.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Leading the Wellness Experience
Owning the day-to-day operation of the spa, fitness facilities, and yoga programming. Being the face of wellness at Boho Club: present, approachable, and genuinely passionate, Managing and inspiring a small team of therapists, instructors, and wellness staff Running regular briefings, one-to-ones, and honest performance conversations Spotting talent and giving people a clear path to grow within the property
Crafting the Guest Journey
Designing personalised wellness experiences that reflect each guest's needs and intentions Building a programming calendar of classes, workshops, and rituals that feel curated, not generic collaborating with external practitioners, nutritionists, sound healers, visiting instructors to keep the offering fresh and relevant, Making sure every guest interaction, from the first treatment consultation to the final farewell, feels warm and considered, Building relationships with returning guests: knowing their preferences, their rituals, their reasons for coming back
Hitting the Numbers
Owning t he revenue performance of the wellness operation: treatments, retail, programming, and packages, Tracking productivity per treatment room and per therapist, and using those insights to coach the team, Contributing meaningfully to the weekly and monthly hotel review with real observations from the floor, Identifying opportunities to grow wellness revenue through packages, partnerships, and seasonal programming
Keeping Costs Under Control
Overseeing product COGS, retail stock, and all controllable costs within the wellness operation, Running accurate and timely product inventories, Catching cost variances early and fixing them before they become a pattern, Minimising wastage and keeping stock levels sensible across treatments and retail
Maintaining the Boho Wellness Identity
Developing a wellness concept that is unmistakably Boho: Mediterranean, intentional, human Working with the marketing team to communicate the wellness offering in a way that attracts the right guests, Staying close to wellness trends without chasing every new thing knowing what fits Boho and what doesn't, Making wellness a reason to book Boho Club, not just an afterthought once guests arrive
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1-2 years of wellness or spa management experience in a luxury boutique or lifestyle hotel environment, Someone who has built or elevated a wellness offering and knows what genuine guest transformation feels like Commercially sharp: comfortable with revenue targets, cost control, and productivity metrics A hands-on leader who manages by being present, not from behind a screen, Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus, Knowledgeable across spa treatments, yoga and fitness programming, and holistic wellness practices, Calm under pressure, creative when it matters, and genuinely warm with guests and team alike Passionate about wellness as a craft not just the job title, but the lifestyle.
Experience designing or managing wellness retreats, whether in-house or in partnership with external operators, is a strong plus.
