• Responsibility for the planning, organisation and execution of group bookings and events from the moment a contract is signed
• Primary point of contact for clients throughout the entire preparation and execution phase
• Ensuring the smooth running of all events in close cooperation with the operational departments
• Preparation, coordination and review of all event-related documentation (function sheets, schedules, rooming lists, etc.)
• Active management and monitoring of all details, as well as quality assurance before and during events
• Taking charge of the operational management of events on site and ensuring an excellent guest experience
• Working closely with the Groups & Events Manager and providing support on strategic and organisational matters
• Providing professional support and guidance to the Event Coordinator in day-to-day operations
• Assisting with the tendering process as required and ensuring a structured and efficient workflow within the team
