Hiring: Freelance / Contract R&D Chef – Luxury Mediterranean–Emirati Beach Club (Dubai)
We are looking for a talented Freelance / Contract R&D Chef to support menu development for a new luxury Mediterranean–Emirati beach club in Dubai.
Our concept and initial menu are already in place—we now need an exceptional chef to help us with the next stage of development:
Scope of Work:
• Refine and elevate existing dishes
• Prototype and test key menu items
• Develop standardised recipes
• Prepare accurate costings
• Create detailed plating guides
• Train the permanent kitchen team
Requirements:
• Strong background in Mediterranean, coastal, modern European, or contemporary Middle Eastern cuisine
• Advantage if you have experience in:
o Seafood-focused menus
o Fine dining
o Luxury beach clubs
o High-volume premium restaurants
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and independence
• Please note: A trial will be conducted before moving forward with further consideration.
Contract Details:
• Short-term consulting contract: approx. 15–20 days
• Excellent compensation for the right candidate
• Flexible start date, ideally within the next 4–6 weeks
