Alpine Transfer Driver in the French Alps
Job Description
We are seeking responsible and reliable professional alpine transfer drivers to join our team.
The role requires excellent driving skills, reliability, punctuality and responsible attitude to work as well as a professional and friendly approach to each and every customer. It is also very important to be flexible and ready to work when required.
You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, comfortable and hassle-free journey for our clients in a 9-seater passenger minibusbetween local airports and ski resorts in the French Alps.
Apart from safe, careful and smooth driving, other essential elements for this position include excellent customer service skills, cleanliness, fluent English, positivity and a willingness to contribute to the high standards of our company.
Applicant Requirements
- EU passport holder with a full clean EU driving licence held for at least 3 years
- Minimum age 23 yrs+ with no criminal record
- Fluent English speaker (basic French useful but not essential)
- Previous driving experience in snowy mountain conditions is preferred
- Available from December through to mid-April

At least one of the following qualifications:
- A Full C or D driving licence
- OR a D1 CPC driving licence (D1 with no 101 restrictions)
- OR a RoSPA advanced driver or Chauffeur certificate
- OR a Taxi/Private Hire licence
- OR a minimum of two years of professional passenger driving experience if you only have a Cat B (car) licence. You will have to provide evidence of this in your application, i.e. a letter from your previous employer(s)
- A confident, careful and safe driver of larger vehicles (9-seater / minibus or similar sized vehicle) with excellent spatial awareness
- Responsible and reliable with professional approach to work and a positive and flexible “can do” approach to all duties.
- Friendly and helpful with excellent interpersonal skills and willing to go the extra mile to keep our customers happy
- Punctual without fail and able to work efficiently without supervision and with initiative
- Physically fit and healthy, able to pass a basic French medical examination
- A clean and presentable appearance (excellent personal hygiene is essential)
- Non-smoker and non-drinker with ability to work early morning shifts
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
