Duties and Responsibilities
As Housekeeping Room /Laundry / Public Attendant, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
Monitor and manage daily washing, drying, ironing, collection, and delivery services in coordination with the Laundry Supervisor, ensuring compliance with resort policies and standards.
Collect and replenish all necessary stock supplies for each shift to guarantee smooth operations.
Perform thorough cleaning and dusting of all lampshades, ceilings, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, machines, walls, and public laundry areas on a daily basis.
Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, including dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and replenishing amenities as per Six Senses guidelines.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained in good working condition and stored appropriately to promote efficiency and safety.
Uphold and exceed Six Senses service and operational standards, consistently meeting performance benchmarks.
Strictly adhere to LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and proactively respond to guest feedback and comments to enhance their experience.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the resort.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Housekeeping Room /Laundry / Public Attendant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
Technical skills include MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and PMS platforms. I have good knowledge of laundry operations, washing and cleaning procedures.
