Role Overview
The Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing (India) will lead strategic sales initiatives and brand development within the Indian market. This position requires a highly motivated professional with a strong network in luxury hospitality, travel trade, and corporate sectors. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, strengthen partnerships, and position Lily Hotels as the preferred Maldivian luxury resort brand for Indian travelers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies to maximize revenue and market share from India.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, OTAs, corporate clients, and luxury lifestyle partners.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events across India.
- Manage B2B and B2C marketing campaigns in collaboration with the corporate marketing team.
- Provide timely market intelligence, competitor analysis, and sales forecasts.
- Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in achieving overall commercial targets.
- Ensure brand standards are upheld across all promotional and partner activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in luxury hospitality or tourism, with a strong professional network in India’s travel trade. Prior experience in the Maldives within a related field will be considered an added advantage.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales results and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of Indian outbound travel market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with occasional travel to Maldives.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
