Job Description
Constance , a luxury resort in the Maldives, is seeking a talented and passionate Demi Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of your assigned kitchen section
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
- Manage stock rotation and minimise food waste
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service
- Adapt to the unique challenges of working in a remote island resort setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments
- Proficiency in various culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with relevant certification
- Experience in menu planning and recipe development
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of international cuisines and current culinary trends
