We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, securing, and growing business across a variety of segments, with a strong emphasis on trade shows, client engagement, and MICE opportunities. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role requires a proactive approach, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent the O'Donoghue Ring Collection at domestic and international trade shows, networking events, and client functions.
* Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel trade, event organisers, and industry partners.
* Drive sales in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector, identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing partnerships.
* Collaborate with the Head of Sales to implement strategic plans and achieve revenue targets across leisure, corporate, and group business.
* Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
* Conduct regular site inspections and familiarisation trips with clients and agencies.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to inform sales strategies.
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM tools and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a hospitality sales role, preferably at a senior or strategic level.
* Proven experience in MICE sales is a strong advantage.
* Demonstrated success in developing and converting business leads, especially within the hospitality and tourism sectors.
* Experience representing a brand at trade shows and industry events is desirable.
* Knowledge of the Irish tourism market and key international source markets
