We are looking for an Assistant Maitre D' who is passionate about hospitality, attention to detail, and leadership skills to support the operational management of our restaurants. This person will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring team coordination and close collaboration with the kitchen and other departments.
Responsabilities:
- Assist the Head Maitre D’ in managing and supervising daily restaurant operations
- Coordinate and assign tasks to the team to ensure an efficient workflow
- Ensure the waitstaff is well informed about menus, promotions, and special events
- Oversee dining room setup before service and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the area
- Guarantee service standards are met in our restaurants and bars, and ensure the team maintains a professional attitude
- Support shift planning and adjust operations based on resort occupancy, as well as assist in staff performance evaluations
- Participate in staff training and development, ensuring all team members are trained in service techniques and protocols
- Supervise administrative tasks in coordination with HR and Administration
- Collaborate in planning special events and services within the resort
- Evaluate team members when needed and report any cases requiring warnings, disciplinary actions, or performance improvement plans (PIPs)
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Ensure the restaurant complies with all food safety and health regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize service delivery
- Actively contribute to the resort’s sustainability plans and involve the team in achieving goals
- Support inventory management, including overseeing supplies and placing orders as needed
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment for the team
- Assist the Head Maitre D’ in preparing reports and managing daily operations
