Outline of Role
We are looking for 1 - 2 people (could be a couple or 2 friends) to help run our small range of high-end, self-catered chalets and apartments in Avoriaz 1800 - at the centre of the Portes du Soleil, the world's biggest linked international ski area.
You will be based in resort centre, in a modern, private apartment, and be part of a small team, with responsibility for ensuring that the guests have a trouble-free holiday and that the highest possible standards of cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.
At the end of each group's stay you thoroughly clean the chalets, change the beds, prepare for the arrival of the new guests and drive and collect the linen to and from the laundry. In a normal week, you will predominantly be carrying out changeovers and mid-week cleaning, but you will also need to attend to any maintenance tasks that arise, assist the guests with any questions and support them with ski hire and lift pass needs.
Your Skills
You will be confident to work without supervision, after initial training. You will have the maturity to be able to represent our business to our high standards and be able to cover all of the duties between you, so you can take charte of the business and all duties when we are away from resort. You will enjoy working with people and be enthusiastic and energetic with a flexible attitude. You will appreciate that this not a 9 to 5 role and being a customer driven business, the hours can be unpredictable. Experience of maintenance and repair, to at least a good DIY standard, is required.
You will be fluent in English, preferably have a working level of French and hold a clean driving licence.
Your Benefits
We offer competitive pay and subsidised, excellent ski-in:ski-out accommodation in the resort centre - facilitating easy access to the slopes during free time. The hours are flexible and there is no cooking or airport transfers. We accept UK passport holders.
To be considered please select 'Apply' and submit CVs. Initial interviews will be online.
Requirements
Fluent English and some knowledge of French.
At least one clean driving licence.
Availability for the whole period.
