Job Description
Constance Halaveli, a luxurious resort in the Maldives, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort during night-time hours, overseeing financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports
- Audit all cash handling transactions and room postings
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs during night shifts
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure the security and safety of the resort during night hours
- Assist with reservations and room assignments as needed
- Prepare and distribute various management reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle any emergencies or unusual situations that may arise during the night shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in hotel night audit or similar role preferred
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office suite
- Strong mathematical and accounting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of hotel operations and accounting procedures
- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Fluency in English
