Ensure the smooth daily operations of the SPA AT SEAFIRE (to include linen and laundry management) and cleanliness of facility and staff presentation. Ensure that all guest touch points, services and treatments are delivered in a professional respectful manner at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage day to day operations of our 5 star facilities and service to include Spa and Salon services, skin and body care, wellness, massage, program coordination, retail, reservations, reception desk and locker room areas.
- Support SPA AT SEAFIRE mission, policies and procedures
- Adhere to all requirements set forth in the SPA AT SEAFIRE Employee Policy and Procedures
- Complete required training programs which include participation/experience in various SPA AT SEAFIRE services and operations and completion of computer/software based training module
- Attend all required internal Hotel meetings as necessary
Leadership
- Play an essential role in developing a positive culture at the SPA AT SEAFIRE

Financial - Report to EVP Spa + Wellness as to financial state and projections of the SPA AT SEAFIRE
- Responsible for internal Marketing and Financial growth of the SPA AT SEAFIRE
- Proficient in building excel sheets for the purpose of reporting
- Strategic planning of business by constantly working to maximize revenues by initiating strategies that encourage the up selling of services and retail products
- Assist in the budgeting process with revenue projections supported by a strategic sales and marketing plan
- Provide monthly summarized operations, sales and marketing activities, staff issues and a glance at what’s ahead to include future month revenue forecast, anticipated operational and staff issues to the EVP of Development and Operations. Actively participate in brainstorming creative idea sessions by participating in weekly meetings with the management of LIV unLTD and the SPA AT SEAFIRE.
- Review and monitor daily sales and margins; compare and contrast with sales history and projections.
- Meet and exceed sales initiatives
- Oversee correct processing of all sales and sales reports
- Conduct proper administration and timely submission of all reports, documents and information
- Manage all software programs as it relates to the Spa and Salon
Staffing - Mentor and set measureable goals for the Spa Manager in an effort to expand Spa/ Salon management knowledge and experience
- Responsible for the day to day oversight of all staff members and the operation to ensure a smooth operation with adequate staffing levels
- Hire, schedule, train, develop, evaluate and terminate all staff
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the staff to ensure efficient operation and delivery of exceptional guest service and treatment as well as ensuring maximum sales and profitability through programming and merchandise/schematics
- Delegate tasks to staff, giving details and deadlines to ensure optimum task completion
- Maintain all service standards
- Develop and implement staff trainings
- Maintain all required spa and practitioners’ licenses/permits per local, state and national requirements
Licensing - Ensure that the facility is up to standard as it relates to Cayman law for a CPAM certified facility
- Ensure that all therapist staff are CPAM certified and licensed
Guest Relationship - Demonstrate exemplary guest service; be the resource for any information requested
- Oversee and manage the guest recovery process
- Market and up sell programs, services and retail products via front desk communication and local outreach
- Ensure that Forbes 5 Star Standards are applied at all times
Inventory - Responsible for the purchasing of operating supplies, office supplies, printed collateral internal forms and delivery of internal and external promotional material
- Ensure that all monthly inventory information is sent to the Finance department
Sales and Marketing - Actively develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, hotels and concierge
- Oversite and execution of Groups business throughout the Hotel and in the local market
- Oversee email blast distribution by creating the e-blasts through constant contact, managing the email list and tracking redemption and referrals in tandem with the SPA AT SEAFIRE and the resort
- Build the contact list for the SPA AT SEAFIRE and the resort marketing department
- Build the followers list and actively engage followers into visiting the spa
- Responsible for providing copy for the SPA AT SEAFIRE website when applicable
- Create marketing, events and specials in the Spa and Salon
- Create yearly initiatives and Marketing Plan
- Outreach to local venues and condos to encourage increase local business
- Create and execute programs that connect Spa, Wellness and Salon
- Participate in all trainings and continued education as it relates to the Spa industry
- Attend outside Spa events and conferences in an effort to gain knowledge and make professional connections within the Spa industry
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:
- Successful Spa management is required. Minimum of five (5) plus years’ managerial Spa experience and three (3) must be at Spa Director Level.
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, in Hospitality Management or relevant field would be preferred
- Experience in a luxury Forbes 5 star spa preferred.
- Possess solid financial management skills as well as proficient in building excel sheets for the purpose of reporting and budgeting.
- Must be able to forecast and plan business by constantly working to maximize revenues by initiating strategies that encourage 30, 60, 90 day and annual plans to drive revenue from the hotel guest as well as the local community.
- Develop and maintain a quarterly and yearly Marketing plan that ensures financial growth as well as encourages and fosters relationships with the local community.
- Along with the hotel sales team coordinate all Group business as it relates to Spa treatments.
- Prior experience managing teams of 20 or more required.
- Proficiency in spa software, e.g. Spa Booker.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to multi-task under pressure.
- Must be able to lift or move 25lbs and stand/walk up to 8 hours.
- Excellent written and verbally communication skills.
- This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
