DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - At all times offer graceful, personalised and caring service towards all guests as you are an ambassador of the Constance Moofushi Resort Maldives service philosophy
- To embody in all your interactions with guests, passion and enthusiasm for service, focusing all attention on the guests

- At all times adhere to the grooming and etiquette standards of the resort
- Always display punctuality and good attendance as an act of responsibility towards the guest service and towards your colleagues

- To be familiar with the hotel’s emergency plans – in case of fire, tsunami, bomb threat and so on; and procedures for “Lost & Found” items.
- Present and conduct marine awareness talks; conduct orientation for guests and increase awareness of marine biology in the Maldives and the importance of our conservation work.
- Guide and accompany the guests on scuba diving and snorkeling trips
- Work on the projects like coral line project, long term reef rehabilitation project and other related research study
- Assist Team Members and guests in educational programs, biological consultancy and nature conservation projects
- Study marine species in their natural habitats, assessing effects of environment and the resort on them, interpreting findings and recommending alternative operating conditions for the resort if necessary.
- Make recommendations on management systems and planning for healthy marine system, consulting with stakeholders and the public at large to explore options.
- Disseminate information by writing reports, blogs, or journal articles, giving talks for guests, Team Members, Local islanders and other interest groups.
- Perform administrative duties such as making posters for awareness, preparing presentations, filling out surveys from Ministry etc
- Organize and conduct experimental studies in controlled or natural surroundings as and when necessary.
- Creates, plans and leads environmental activities in line with Marine preservation and programs for the Guest and Team members
- Makes reports on the status of Constance Moofushi Marine life such as but not limited to coral frames planting status, turtle nesting procedure, CSR projects conducted and alike
- Updates Sustainability and Marine Biology Notice boards.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in marine conservation, sustainability, or a related field.
- Passion for marine conservation and sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, guests, and 3rd Party
- Knowledge of marine ecosystems, coral reefs, and marine life in the Maldives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- PADI Dive Instructor certification is a plus.
