As our Commis Chef, you will:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Mediterranean dishes, showcasing your knowledge of Mediterranean cooking techniques, flavour profiles, and ingredient selection.
- Support the grill station with precision and skill, ensuring that grilled specialties are cooked to perfection, seasoned impeccably, and presented beautifully.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and plate Mediterranean-inspired dishes and grill items that reflect the richness and diversity of Mediterranean cuisine.
- Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef to maintain kitchen standards, uphold quality control, and contribute to the development of innovative menu items and seasonal specials.
- Contribute to kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, station setup, cleanliness, and organisation, to ensure smooth service and exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Qualifications - A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in culinary arts, with exposure to Mediterranean cuisine and grill skills.
